Iowa guard Caitlin Clark broke the WNBA single-season assists record for a rookie with 7.6 per game on Sunday. Clark, the No. 1 pick in the 2023 draft, surpassed the previous mark of 5.5 set by Sue Bird in 2002. The 21-year-old also leads the league in scoring (20.6 ppg) and is a strong contender for Rookie of the Year.
