Carly Madison Gregg, a Rankin County woman, is scheduled to go on trial for the murder of her mother. The trial is set to begin on October 1, 2024. Gregg was charged with the crime in 2022, but the trial has been delayed multiple times. The victim, identified as 57-year-old Lisa Gregg, was found dead in her home in 2021. An autopsy report revealed that she died from multiple stab wounds. Gregg has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
