The Menendez brothers, Lyle and Erik, were convicted of first-degree murder for killing their parents, Jose and Kitty Menendez, in 1989. They are currently serving life sentences with the possibility of parole. Lyle Menendez is incarcerated at Mule Creek State Prison in Ione, California, while Erik Menendez is at California State Prison, Sacramento. Both brothers have been denied parole multiple times.
