Sean Combs, also known as P. Diddy or Puff Daddy, was sentenced to five years in prison on Friday for assaulting a man outside a Manhattan nightclub in 2023. The incident occurred at the Club New York, where Combs and his entourage allegedly attacked the victim, Mark Sullivan, after a verbal altercation. The assault left Sullivan with serious injuries, including a fractured skull. Combs was arrested in December 2023 and charged with assault and weapons possession. The trial took place in Brooklyn Supreme Court, where the jury found him guilty in August 2024. In addition to the prison sentence, Combs was also ordered to pay a fine of $30,000 and restitution to the victim.
