Pope Francis has granted a ‘nulla osta’ approval for the public veneration of the alleged apparitions at Medjugorje, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The decision, which does not recognize the authenticity of the apparitions but allows for the public expression of faith, was made following a report from the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith.
