Boeing has ousted Ted Colbert as the head of its Space and Launch division following the debacle of the Starliner spacecraft test flight. The test flight in May ended in failure when the spacecraft did not reach the International Space Station as planned. Colbert, a 31-year Boeing veteran, will be replaced by Jim Chilton, who currently leads the company’s Commercial Crew Program. Boeing is currently working with NASA to resolve the issues and schedule a new test flight.
