Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau met with Nobel Peace Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai on Tuesday in New York City. The two discussed education and women’s rights. Trudeau tweeted a photo of the meeting, writing, ‘It was an honour to meet with Malala Yousafzai today. Her courage and commitment to girls’ education is an inspiration to us all.’ Malala is in New York for the United Nations General Assembly.
