Authorities have given the all-clear at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard following a lockdown on Thursday after a gun was found in a car. The shipyard was placed on lockdown around 11:30 a.m. and remained closed until approximately 2 p.m. The gun was discovered during a routine security screening. No further details have been released.
