Gettysburg College student allegedly scratched a racial slur on another student’s body during a swim meet. The incident occurred on January 25 at a swim meet against Franklin & Marshall College. The victim, who is Black, reported the incident to the college’s Title IX office. The alleged perpetrator, who is White, was identified and dismissed from the swim team. Gettysburg College released a statement saying they take reports of bias incidents seriously and are investigating the matter.
