Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has warned the world that his country could turn to nuclear weapons if the West continues to interfere in Belarusian affairs. Lukashenko made the statement during a visit to a military base on Sunday, as protests against his rule enter their fifth month. The West has imposed sanctions on Belarus following the disputed August election that gave Lukashenko a sixth term in office.
