Electricity North West (ENW) has secured £500,000 in funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) to develop a project aimed at reducing carbon emissions in the North West of England. The project, named ‘Powering Our Businesses Towards Net Zero’, will focus on providing businesses with energy efficiency advice and grants to install renewable energy technologies. ENW aims to help 1,000 businesses reduce their carbon emissions by 20% over the next five years.
