Preschool Owner Fights County’s Plan to Open Drug Deflection Center Nearby

The owner of a preschool in Oregon is seeking to block the county from opening a drug deflection center nearby. The center, which aims to prevent drug overdoses by providing addicts with a safe place to inject drugs under medical supervision, is planned to be located within 500 feet of the preschool. The preschool owner argues that the center poses a risk to the children and has filed a lawsuit against the county.
