McDonald’s has announced the return of its 1980s fan favorite, The McDLT, for a limited time. The McDLT, which stands for ‘McDonald’s Double-Layered Thickburger’, features two beef patties, lettuce, cheese, onions, pickles, and buttered and toasted potato buns. The unique selling point of the McDLT is that the top bun and the bottom bun are kept separate to maintain the temperature and freshness of the ingredients. The McDLT was first introduced in 1991 and was discontinued in 1994. It will be available in the US from March 31.
