JMU Football Seeks to Maintain Momentum Against Georgia Southern

James Madison University (JMU) football heads to Georgia Southern this weekend, aiming to build on their recent success. The Dukes have won three straight games, including a 31-17 victory over Elon last Saturday. Georgia Southern, on the other hand, has lost three games in a row. JMU’s offense, led by quarterback Cole Johnson and running back Percy Agyei-Obese, will face a Georgia Southern defense that has struggled to contain opponents. The Eagles have given up an average of 38.3 points per game in their last three outings. JMU’s defense, which ranks second in the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) in total defense, will look to shut down Georgia Southern’s offense, led by quarterback Shai Werts.
