Aaron Hernandez’s Odin Lloyd Murder Trial: Key Evidence and Conviction Explained

Aaron Hernandez was convicted of the murder of Odin Lloyd in 2015. The former New England Patriots player was found guilty of first-degree murder for the shooting death of Lloyd, a friend and semi-pro football player. The trial lasted five weeks and featured extensive evidence against Hernandez, including: text messages between Hernandez and Lloyd, a call from Hernandez to his sister just before Lloyd’s death, and testimony from several witnesses.
