Anna Delvey, the German heiress who defrauded New York City’s elite, is set to appear on Dancing with the Stars. Her participation in the show, despite her recent fraud conviction, should not come as a surprise, as she has a history of manipulating public perception. Delvey, whose real name is Anna Sorokin, was sentenced to four to twelve years in prison in May 2019 for defrauding banks and hotels out of hundreds of thousands of dollars.
