Authorities investigated a report of an armed person near Hilltop Elementary School in Macon, Georgia on Tuesday. According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, the school was placed on lockdown as a precaution. However, after a thorough search, no threat was found. The school district has since lifted the lockdown.
