Auburn Tigers quarterback Payton Thorne is reportedly working with new head coach Hugh Freeze during the offseason. Thorne, a redshirt freshman, saw limited action last season, completing 2 of 3 passes for 12 yards. Freeze, who was hired in December after the resignation of Gus Malzahn, is known for his offensive prowess and could provide Thorne with valuable coaching and experience.
