The Ball State Men’s Tennis team began competition at the Ball State Men’s Tennis Fall Invite on Tuesday. The Cardinals faced off against Purdue Fort Wayne and Wright State in their first day of action. Ball State dropped both matches, but individual performances stood out. In the first match against Purdue Fort Wayne, freshman Maxime Leclercq won his No. 3 singles match in straight sets. In the second match against Wright State, senior Jack Hui won his No. 1 singles match in a three-set thriller. The Cardinals will continue competition in the Fall Invite on Wednesday.
