Bavarian Nordic, a Danish biotech company, has announced it will provide an additional 1 million doses of its smallpox vaccine Imvanex for use in the African region to combat the ongoing monkeypox outbreak. The company stated that it is committed to ensuring equitable access to vaccines and working with international organizations to address the current public health emergency.
