BMW has announced that it has appointed Adrian van Hooydonk as the new head of its design department, effective immediately. He replaces Karim Habib, who has left the company after 15 years. Van Hooydonk, who has been with BMW since 1992, previously held the position of head of BMW Group DesignWorksUSA. The changes come as BMW looks to revitalize its design language and differentiate itself from competitors.
