Boar’s Head Closing Virginia Plant Due to Listeria Outbreak

Boar’s Head, a deli meat manufacturer, is closing its plant in Virginia following a listeria outbreak. The Virginia Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are investigating the outbreak, which has resulted in three illnesses and one death. The plant will remain closed until the source of the contamination is identified and remedied.
