Boeing’s Chief Engineering, Operations and Technology Officer, Ted Colbert, has announced his departure from the company, effective immediately. This marks the first major executive move by new CEO David Calhoun, who took over on January 13, 2020. Colbert joined Boeing in 2018, and prior to that, he spent 25 years at General Electric. Boeing is currently dealing with the aftermath of two crashes of its 737 Max jets, which have resulted in over 300 fatalities.
