Caleb Plant successfully defended his IBF super middleweight title against Trevor McCumby on Saturday night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Plant, 29, won by unanimous decision with scores of 117-111, 116-112, and 115-113. McCumby, a late replacement for the injured Callum Smith, pushed Plant hard throughout the fight but could not match the champion’s speed and accuracy.
