California State Senator Anthony Portantino allegedly forced his chief of staff to perform sex acts and left him injured, according to a lawsuit filed on Tuesday. The unnamed chief of staff claimed in the lawsuit that Portantino subjected him to unwanted sexual advances and retaliated when he refused. The alleged incidents occurred between 2018 and 2019, and the chief of staff is seeking damages for emotional distress and other damages. Portantino, a Democrat representing La Cañada Flintridge, has not commented on the allegations.
