Actress Candice Bergen made a jab at Ohio Senate candidate J.D. Vance during the 2024 Emmy Awards. While presenting an award, Bergen mentioned Vance’s acting career and quipped, “I’ve heard he’s great in that other arena too: politics.” Vance, a best-selling author and former Republican nominee for Ohio Senate, was not in attendance.
