The Vancouver Canucks will be without Brock Boeser for their game against the Seattle Kraken due to an upper-body injury. In his place, Ilya Mikheyev will skate on the first line with Elias Pettersson and J.T. Miller. Vasili Podkolzin will make his NHL debut, playing on the third line with Brandon Sutter and Jason Dickinson. The Kraken will be without Justin Schultz and Jaden Schwartz.
