During the VMAs 2024 red carpet, comedian Dave Chappelle and his girlfriend, Elle Roan, had an altercation with a photographer. Chappelle reportedly pushed the photographer’s camera away and yelled at him. Roan also got involved, pushing the photographer and slapping him. Security intervened and escorted the photographer off the premises.
