The Chicago Sky have signed Paige Bueckers, the first overall pick in the 2021 WNBA Draft, to a multi-year contract. Bueckers, who played college basketball at UConn, was initially drafted by the Golden State Warriors’ WNBA affiliate, the Valkyries, but a deal could not be reached. The Sky, who finished the 2021 season with a 16-18 record, are looking to strengthen their roster for the upcoming season.
