The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has expanded a recall of cinnamon imported from Sri Lanka due to a Salmonella outbreak. The recall now includes over 500,000 pounds of cinnamon powder and ground cinnamon. The FDA advises consumers not to consume any cinnamon imported from Sri Lanka. The recalled products were distributed to retailers and food manufacturers in the United States and Canada.
