Garner Magnet Elementary School in Greensboro, North Carolina, was placed on lockdown due to an intruder on campus. The lockdown was initiated around 11:30 am and students were kept inside their classrooms. The intruder was later identified as a former employee of the school system. No injuries were reported. The lockdown was lifted after a thorough search of the school.
