Republican Congressman Joe Wilson collapsed at a campaign event in South Carolina on Saturday. Witnesses reported that Wilson, 71, was speaking to a crowd when he suddenly fell to the ground. Emergency responders were called to the scene and Wilson was transported to a local hospital for evaluation. The cause of the collapse is not yet known.
