The Mann Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia will host a concert in memory of Matthew Shepard, a gay man who was brutally murdered in Wyoming in 1998. The event, titled ‘Considering Matthew Shepard,’ will feature music by the Philadelphia Orchestra and the Festival Chorus, along with readings from the play ‘The Laramie Project.’ The concert aims to raise awareness about hate crimes and promote understanding and acceptance of the LGBTQ+ community.
