Cuba Reduces Bread Rations for First Time in Decades

Cuba has reduced its bread rations for the first time in decades, as the communist government seeks to save money and reform its inefficient food distribution system. The government announced that each family will now receive just 500 grams (1.1 pounds) of bread per month, down from 600 grams. The move comes as Cuba faces economic challenges, including a decline in exports and a shortage of hard currency.
