A cybersecurity drill, named Defcon 2, is taking place in England amid fears of a potential Russian cyberattack. The exercise, which involves simulated attacks on critical national infrastructure, is being led by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC). The NCSC has warned that Russian state-sponsored hackers could target the UK’s power grid, water supplies, and transport systems. The drill comes after a similar exercise was held in the US last month.
