Detroit Lions’ rookie wide receiver Jameson Williams passed a new test on his injured left hand and returned to practice on Monday. Williams, the 12th overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, sustained the injury during the team’s preseason game against the Buffalo Bills on August 18. He underwent surgery and has been sidelined ever since. The Lions are hopeful that Williams will be able to make his NFL debut in Week 1 against the Philadelphia Eagles on September 17.
