The Detroit Tigers pitched a one-hitter on Monday, defeating the Baltimore Orioles with a score of 1-0. Starter Matt Manning allowed just one hit and struck out eight batters in seven innings. The Tigers’ lone run came in the fifth inning on a sacrifice fly by Willi Castro.
