The Los Angeles Dodgers have announced that right-hander Yoshinobu Yamamoto will start Game 5 of the National League Division Series against the San Diego Padres on Thursday. Yamamoto, 28, made one relief appearance in the NLDS, allowing one run in one inning. He will be making his first career postseason start.
