The Escambia Gators football team defeated the Navarre Raiders with 21 consecutive points and three takeaways in a district matchup on Thursday night. Escambia’s defense forced three turnovers, including two interceptions by senior defensive back Javon Solomon. The Gators’ offense scored on all five of their second-half possessions, with senior running back Trent Whittemore rushing for two touchdowns. Escambia improved to 5-2 on the season and 3-1 in district play.
