A former US Army soldier, who asked for a maximum sentence of 40 years in prison for his role in a plot to kidnap a Michigan governor, was sentenced to 14 years instead. The soldier, Adam Fox, was among six men charged in the plot to kidnap Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer.
