A 10-year-old girl in the UK experienced a severe reaction after her doctor administered three vaccines at once. The girl, who was due for a routine appointment, received the measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccine, the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine, and the meningococcal ACWY vaccine. According to her mother, the girl became unresponsive and was taken to the hospital. Doctors are investigating the cause of the reaction, but it is believed that the combination of vaccines may have contributed. The National Health Service (NHS) has advised that vaccines should be given at separate appointments when possible.
