The Gotham FC climbed to the top of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) standings after a 2-1 victory over the North Carolina Courage. Trinity Rodman, a forward for Gotham, scored the winning goal in the 89th minute. In celebration, Rodman mimicked Steph Curry’s ‘Night Night’ celebratory gesture, which left Courage’s defender dazed. Gotham’s win marks their fifth consecutive victory.
