The Green Bay Packers have placed rookie running back Marshawn Lloyd on injured reserve, the team announced on Friday. Lloyd suffered a knee injury during practice this week and underwent surgery on Thursday. The Packers signed running back Patrick Taylor to replace Lloyd on the roster. Lloyd, a fifth-round pick out of Oregon State, had been competing for the backup running back job behind Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon.
