The Humanitas Awards, which recognize excellence in film and television, have announced their 2024 winners. Hacks, a comedy series starring Jean Smart, won for Comedy Series. Fellow Travelers, a drama film about a forbidden love story in the 1960s, won for Feature Film. Black Cake, a drama series based on Charmaine Wilkerson’s novel, won for New Half-Hour Series. The awards were presented at a ceremony in Los Angeles.
