A New York court held a hearing on Tuesday to discuss pretrial matters in Harvey Weinstein’s rape retrial. The defense and prosecution presented motions regarding evidence and witness testimony. The trial, which is expected to begin in January 2025, will see Weinstein face charges related to two additional accusers. The former movie mogul is currently serving a 23-year sentence for a 2020 conviction on sexual assault and rape charges.
