India Thrash Bangladesh by an Innings and 132 Runs in 1st Test

India dominated the 1st Test against Bangladesh in Kolkata, bowling out the visitors for 150 in their second innings to secure a comprehensive victory by an innings and 132 runs. India’s top order shone in the first innings, with Shubman Gill scoring a century and Cheteshwar Pujara contributing 81. In reply, Bangladesh’s batting line-up failed to put up a fight, with Shakib Al Hasan top-scoring with 32. India’s bowling attack, led by Mohammed Shami’s five-wicket haul, ensured Bangladesh were all out for under 200 in both innings.
