Israeli jets carried out strikes early Thursday against targets belonging to the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah in both Syria and Lebanon, according to multiple reports. The strikes came in response to rocket fire from Syria into the Israeli-controlled Golan Heights, the Israeli military said. Hezbollah denied any of its positions were hit in the strikes.
