Mitsubishi Corporation, a Japanese trading company, announced on Monday that it will build a new lithium-ion battery plant in Indonesia with a total production capacity of 10 gigawatt-hours per year. The plant is expected to start production in 2025 and will be the largest lithium-ion battery plant in the world.
