Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter will turn 100 on Oct. 1 and is set to celebrate with a concert in his hometown of Plains, Georgia. The concert, scheduled for Oct. 6, will feature performances by Willie Nelson, Martina McBride, and other artists. Carter, the oldest living former president, served in office from 1977 to 1981.
