Rock icon Jon Bon Jovi intervened in a potential suicide attempt on Saturday in downtown Nashville. Witnesses reported seeing the musician helping a woman who was trying to jump off the Shelby Street Bridge. Bon Jovi reportedly spoke to her and convinced her to come back to safety. Emergency responders arrived shortly after and took the woman to a nearby hospital for evaluation.
